MY TOP 10 FAVOURITE MOVIES

Ora che le serate fresche e corte si stanno avvicinando e la voglia di autunno e tazze di te bollente è in costante aumento - almeno per me -  un post sui 10 film preferiti, da guardare magari durante un pomeriggio piovoso, accoccolati sul divano in pigiama, credo sia quasi doveroso.  

Ecco dunque i più belli, appassionanti, divertenti e commoventi film da guardare in questi giorni di fine estate 😉

1. SE SOLO FOSSE VERO

Dopo un terribile incidente d’auto, Elisabeth, promettente dottoressa, si ritrova a fluttuare quasi come un fantasma per il suo appartamento, dove si imbatte in David, un giovane e solitario architetto che ha affittato la casa. Si creerà una curiosa convivenza tra i due che finiranno irrimediabilmente per innamorarsi, anche se..non posso spoilerare di più ma se amate le commedie romantiche, dovete assolutamente vedere come va a finire! 

2. UN AMORE ALL’IMPROVVISO

Henry è un bibliotecario che, a causa di una malattia genetica, quando si trova sotto stress, viaggia nel tempo. I suoi viaggi nel tempo, totalmente al di fuori del suo controllo, possono durare anche lunghi periodi, mettendo a rischio la sua relazione romantica con la moglie Clare, che l'uomo aveva avuto modo di conoscere durante i suoi viaggi temporali quando la donna era solo una bambina. Romantico, curioso e commovente con un finale che..be' fa riflettere..Da vedere anche solo per l’affascinantissimo protagonista (Eric Bana) 😍

3. LA DURA VERITA’

Abby è produttrice di successo di un talk show mattutino, ma è molto meno fortunata nel privato, nei rapporti di coppia. Quando il suo programma subisce un calo degli ascolti, è costretta a dare spazio a un nuovo opinionista, lo spudorato e (apparentemente) cinico Mike Chadway, che promette di rivelare senza mezzi termini cosa pensano veramente gli uomini delle donne e come agire, da entrambi i lati, di conseguenza. Gli ascolti del network si impennano e la stessa Abby decide suo malgrado di seguire i consigli del brutale esperto per sedurre il vicino di casa, Colin. Ma le cose non andranno secondo i piani… divertente, sexy e anche un pizzico romantico.

4. CRAZY STUPID LOVE 

Cal Weaver è un uomo che ha tutto nella vita: una bella casa, un buon lavoro, una moglie e adorabili figli. Il suo mondo crolla miseramente quando la moglie Emily gli chiede improvvisamente il divorzio. Spiazzato e trasferitosi nel suo appartamento, Cal va al bar, notte dopo notte, finché non attira l'attenzione di un giovane di nome Jacob Palmer, un affascinante sciupafemmine. Grazie all'aiuto di Jacob, Cal riesce a crearsi una nuova immagine e a interagire con l'altro sesso, seducendo con successo molte donne. Ma..ok lo ammetto questo film mi piace soprattutto perché c’è un fichissimo Ryan Gosling che alla fine sembra redimersi..

5. HO CERCATO IL TUO NOME

Logan  è un sergente dei Marines che, di ritorno dalla sua terza missione in Iraq congedato con onore, decide di mettersi alla ricerca dell'unica cosa che crede gli abbia consentito di restare in vita: una foto da lui trovata che ritrae una donna a lui sconosciuta. Si reca ad Hamden, in Louisiana, nel luogo in cui la foto è stata scattata e, dopo avere scoperto che il suo nome è Beth, pur di starle accanto, finisce col lavorare nel canile gestito dalla nonna di lei, Ellie. Nonostante l'iniziale diffidenza di Beth, dovuta al fatto che Logan ha raggiunto quella città a piedi dal Colorado con la sola compagnia del suo cane Zeus, fra i due nasce una profonda e meravigliosa storia d'amore. 

Assolutamente fantastico, romantico, appassionante e..Zac Efron, ragazze, Zac Efron!! 

6. LE PAGINE DELLA NOSTRA VITA

Negli anni '40, una ragazza arriva nella cittadina costiera di Seabrook, nel Nord Carolina, per trascorrervi l'estate con la sua famiglia. Ancora adolescente, Allie Hamilton incontra un ragazzo del posto, Noah Calhoun in un Luna Park. Immediatamente, Noah sente che lui e Allie sono fatti per stare insieme. Benché lei provenga da una famiglia facoltosa e lui sia un semplice operaio, nel corso di una appassionata e spensierata estate i due si innamorano profondamente. La loro storia è destinata a finire: lei deve ripartire con la famiglia; nel frattempo scoppia la guerra che li separerà ancora di più ma..

Un film toccante, commovente e bellissimo che vi farà riflettere sulla forza e la tenacia dell’amore.

7. 5 APPUNTAMENTI PER FARLA INNAMORARE

Genevieve è un'esuberante e bella fioraia che vive a Brooklyn e gestisce un negozio in maniera spensierata assieme all'aiuto di una coppia gay: Bill e Bob.

La sua filosofia di vita si basa sulla teoria dei 5 appuntamenti, il che le consente di assaporare a pieno le storie d'amore senza impegnarsi in relazioni lunghe che finirebbero male.

Greg apre un tapas bar proprio accanto al suo negozio e Genevieve lo frequenta, soltanto che arrivati al quinto appuntamento (secondo lui), il quarto (secondo lei), non vogliono ammettere di essersi innamorati davvero..Ancora una volta Nia Vardalos e John Corbett ci faranno sognare! 

8. LE MIE GROSSE GRASSE VACANZE GRECHE

Georgia (Nia Vardalos) insegnante americana di greco, trasferitasi in Grecia per lavoro, è costretta a lavorare come guida turistica per via dei tagli economici delle università. La titolare dell'agenzia mostra apertamente di preferirle il collega Nico e concede a quest'ultimo tutti i privilegi possibili (clienti educati e tranquilli, alberghi di lusso, pullman confortevoli), lasciando invece a Georgia sistemazioni precarie e turisti scalmanati. La donna svolge il suo lavoro con rigidità e il più delle volte le sue spiegazioni erudite e formali vengono ignorate dai clienti, che passano il tempo ad acquistare souvenir e a mangiare gelati. Ma un giorno si ritrova a guidare una comitiva particolarmente poco stimolante per lei, ma è proprio grazie a loro che capirà una grande verità..Spassoso e anche romantico, vi farà capire che, a volte, un altro punto di vista è fondamentale per ritrovare se stessi e la felicità. 

9. WALL-E

Il protagonista del film è il robot WALL•E, che in un lontano futuro è l'unico abitante del pianeta Terra, ormai abbandonato dagli esseri umani a causa dell'eccessivo inquinamento e del continuo accumulo di rifiuti. Il compito di WALL•E è proprio quello di ripulire il pianeta compattando i rifiuti, compito a cui adempie diligentemente da più di settecento anni. Stranamente, WALL•E riesce a provare emozioni e mentre pulisce, raccoglie e sperimenta, come spinto da un'umana curiosità, gli svariati oggetti che trova in giro. Un giorno scende dal cielo un robot ad alta tecnologia di nome EVE (o E.V.E.) che lo farà innamorare, e in nome di questo amore vivranno un'avventura che cambierà il loro destino e quello dell'umanità. Mi piace perché è unico nel suo genere e adoro le ambientazioni fantascientiche!

10. MALEFICENT

Un remake del classico Disney La bella addormentata nel bosco, in cui è presentata la storia mai raccontata di una delle più amate cattive delle favole, Malefica. La Jolie è stupenda in questo film: adoro i protagonisti, la trama e soprattutto le ambientazioni!

Now that fresh and short evenings are approaching and the desire for autumn and cups of hot tea is constantly increasing - at least for me - a post on my top 10 favorite movies, to watch maybe during a rainy afternoon, crouched on the sofa in pajamas, I think it's almost right.

Here are the most beautiful, exciting and fun movies to watch these days in late summer  😉

1. JUST LIKE HEAVEN

After a terrible car accident, Elisabeth, a promising doctor, is floating almost like a ghost in her apartment, where she runs into David, a young and lonely architect who has rented the house. It will create a curious cohabitation between the two that will irretrievably end up falling in love, even if ... I can not spoil more but if you love romantic comedies, you absolutely must see how it ends!

2. THE TIME TRAVELER'S WIFE

Henry is a librarian who, due to a genetic disease, when he is under stress, travels over time. His travels in time, totally beyond his control, can last even long periods, putting at risk his romantic relationship with his wife Clare, whom the man had got to know during his time travels when the woman was just a girl. Romantic and touching with an ending that will make you think about it ... To see even for the amazing protagonist (Eric Bana) 😍

3. THE UGLY TRUTH

Abby is a successful producer of a morning talk show, but she is much less lucky in relationships. When her program suffers a drop in ratings, she is forced to give space to a new columnist, the shameless and (apparently) cynical Mike Chadway, who promises to reveal in no uncertain terms what men really think about women and how to act, from both the sides, accordingly. The ratings of the network are prancing and so Abby decides to follow the advice of the brutal expert to seduce the neighbor, Colin. But things will not go according to plans... fun, sexy and with a romantic touch.

4. CRAZY STUPID LOVE

Cal Weaver is a man who has everything in life: a beautiful home, a good job, a wife and adorable children. His world collapses miserably when his wife Emily suddenly asks him for a divorce. Spun and moved to his apartment, Cal goes to the bar, night after night, until he draws the attention of a young man named Jacob Palmer, a fascinating womanizer. Thanks to Jacob's help, Cal manages to create a new image and interact with women, successfully seducing many of them. Well..ok I admit I like this movie especially because of a very cool Ryan Gosling that seems to redeem at the end..

5. THE LUCKY ONE

Logan is a sergeant of the Marines who, returning from his third mission in Iraq honorably discharged, decides to look for the only thing he believes has allowed him to stay alive: a photo he found that portrays a woman to him unknown. He goes to Hamden, Louisiana, where the photo was taken and, after discovering that her name is Beth, he ends up working in the kennel run by her grandmother, Ellie. Despite the initial distrust of Beth, due to the fact that Logan has reached that city by walking from Colorado with the only company of his dog Zeus, between the two is born a wonderful love story.

Absolutely fantastic, romantic, exciting and..Zac Efron, girls, Zac Efron !!

6. THE NOTEBOOK

In the '40s, a girl arrives in the coastal town of Seabrook, in North Carolina, to spend the summer with her family. While still a teenager, Allie Hamilton meets a local boy, Noah Calhoun in a Luna Park. Immediately, Noah feels that he and Allie are made to be together. Although she comes from a wealthy family and he is a mere worker, during a passionate and carefree summer the two fall deeply in love. Their story is destined to end: she must leave with the family; in the meantime, the war breaks out and will separate them even more but ...

A touching and beautiful movie that will make you think about the strength and tenacity of love.

7. I HATE VALENTINE'S DAY

Genevieve is an exuberant and beautiful florist who lives in Brooklyn and runs a shop in a carefree way with the help of a gay couple: Bill and Bob.

Her philosophy of life is based on the theory of 5 dates, which allows her to fully enjoy love stories  without engaging in long relationships that would end badly.

Greg opens a tapas bar right next to her shop and Genevieve dates him, only that they arrived at the fifth appointment (according to him), the fourth (according to her), do not want to admit that they really fell in love ..Once again Nia Vardalos and John Corbett will make us dream!

8. MY LIFE IN RUINS

Georgia (Nia Vardalos), an American Greek teacher, who moved to Greece for work, is forced to work as a tourist guide due to the economic cuts of the universities. The owner of the agency openly shows to prefer her colleague Nico and grants the latter all possible privileges (polite and quiet clients, luxury hotels, comfortable coaches), leaving instead precarious accommodation and rugged tourists to Georgia. The woman carries out her work with rigidity and most of the time her formal and erudite explanations are ignored by the customers, who spend their time buying souvenirs and eating ice-creams. But one day she guide a turist group that is not particularly stimulating for her, but it is thanks to them that she will understand a great truth ... Surprising and romantic, it will make you understand that sometimes another point of view is crucial to find again themselves and happiness.

9. WALL-E

The protagonist of this movie is the robot WALL • E, which in the distant future is the only inhabitant of the planet Earth, now abandoned by humans due to excessive pollution and the continuous accumulation of waste. The task of WALL • E is precisely to clean up the planet by compacting waste, a task that it has been diligently fulfilling for over seven hundred years. Strangely WALL • E can feel emotions and while cleaning, collects and experiences, as driven by a human curiosity, the various objects that he finds around. One day a high tech robot named EVE descends from the sky, and will make him fall in love, and in the name of this love they will live an adventure that will change their destiny and that of humanity. I like it because it's one of a kind and I love the sci-fi environments!

10. MALEFICENT

A remake of the classic Disney Sleeping Beauty, in which is presented the story never told of one of the most loved bad of fairy tales, Maleficent. Angelina Jolie is wonderful in this film: I love the protagonists, the plot and especially the settings!
