Beauty Tips for Beginners

Se nel post precedente (qui) ho elencato quelli che, per me, sono stati gli step fondamentali nella creazione della mia makeup collection, nel post di oggi voglio riassumere brevemente quelli che ritengo i consigli beauty utili da sapere se ci si vuole avvicinare al mondo del makeup.

1. Comprare l'essenziale

E' inutile spendere tanti soldi in prodotti superflui o molto costosi, specialmente all'inizio, quando tutto è nuovo e non sappiamo bene come muoverci; questo è il momento di sperimentare, di capire cosa è adatto a noi e cosa non lo è e i prodotti low cost ci permettono di scoprirlo. Il mio consiglio, dunque, è quello di preferire brand economici, dupes e prodotti multitasking, ovvero adatti a molteplici utilizzi.

2. Investire in un buon set di pennelli

Se proprio vogliamo spendere qualcosina di più, allora i pennelli sono uno degli strumenti più importanti del makeup, soprattutto per chi è agli inizi! Investire in un set funzionale e di buona qualità non è uno spreco ma una priorità, visto che la buona riuscita di un look dipende maggiormente dal modo in cui i prodotti vengono applicati sul nostro viso.

3. Utilizzare il primer

Creare una base uniforme è la chiave di ogni look ben riuscito, sia per quanto riguarda il viso, sia per gli occhi. L'applicazione del primer, dunque, è essenziale prima dell'applicazione del fondotinta, così come degli ombretti. Non solo perchè crea una base omogenea, ma anche perchè influisce notevolmente sulla durata del look e, nel caso degli ombretti, rende i loro colori più ricchi e vibranti.

4. Ricordarsi di sfumare!

Una delle cose a cui, chi si approccia al mondo del makeup, non presta molta attenzione - ahimè - è la sfumatura. Non basta applicare un colore sopra l'altro, bisogna anche fonderli insieme, mixarli e sfumarli sapientemente in modo che il tutto risulti il più armonioso e naturale possibile. Il mio consiglio è di partire con una base ombretto chiara e senza glitter, per poi sfumare via via i colori più scuri.

5. Ricordare di struccarsi

Struccarsi prima di andare a dormire è una delle regole più ferree e importanti da seguire, perchè ci permette di mantenere una pelle non solo sana e bella, ma anche più giovane! Dormire senza struccarsi, infatti, oltre a non far respirare la pelle - e quindi ostruire i pori - ne provoca anche un precoce invecchiamento!

If in the previous post (here) I have listed those that, for me, were the fundamental steps in creating my makeup collection, in today's post I want to briefly summarize what I consider the beauty tips useful to know if you want to get closer to the world of makeup.

1. Buy the essentials

It is useless to spend so much money on superfluous or very expensive products, especially at the beginning, when everything is new and we do not know how to deal with; this is the time to experiment, to understand what is right for us and what is not and low cost products allow us to find out. My advice, therefore, is to prefer cheap brands, dupes and multitasking products, that is suitable for multiple uses.

2. Invest in a good set of brushes

3. Use primer

Creating a uniform base is the key to every successful look, both for the face and for the eyes. 4. Remember to blend!

It is not enough to apply one color over the other, we must also blend them together wisely so that everything is as harmonious and natural as possible. My advice is to start with a clear and matte eyeshadow base, and then gradually blend the darker colors.

5. Remember to remove makeup

Removing makeup before going to sleep is one of the strictest and most important rules to follow, because it allows us to keep a skin that is not only healthy and beautiful, but also younger! Sleeping without removing make-up, in fact, in addition to not letting the skin breathe - and therefore obstruct the pores - also causes it to age prematurely!
