Preferiti di Luglio - 2018

Ci credete che tra 11 giorni è ferragosto? Luglio è passato in un baleno, tra pomeriggi torridi, giornate spensierate e altre un po’ meno. Il mio 30esimo compleanno mi ha fatto riflettere un po’ su dove sono e cosa voglio nella mia vita e, anche se adesso sono più confusa di prima, sapete cosa? Non importa. Perché non bisogna sempre analizzare tutto e tutti ma vivere giorno per giorno, senza troppe aspettative, solo così la vita può davvero sorprenderci.

Pensieri filosofici a parte, come promesso, ecco qui il post sui miei preferiti del mese!

Il caldo e l’afa di luglio mi hanno spinto a cambiare definitivamente il fondotinta che stavo utilizzando (che riprenderò poi in autunno).  La mia scelta è ricaduta sul Double Wear di Estèe Lauder e l’ho amato fin da primo utilizzo. A lunga tenuta, leggero sulla pelle ma coprente al punto giusto, peccato per il prezzo (troppo) alto e l’assenza dell’applicatore. Qui l’ho recensito e, se volete vederne applicazione, questo è il mio video dedicato.

Per sostituire la matita per sopracciglia di Zoeva (che non ho più trovato su Maquibeauty) ho scelto quella di Ardell (la potete trovare su Notino) nella colorazione medium brown che si è rivelata perfetta per le mie sopracciglia! La mina ha una forma a triangolo che trovo molto comoda per l’applicazione e, all’estremità opposta, il pettinino è molto funzionale. Non sbava, tiene tutto il giorno e il prezzo è ottimo (6,90€ ).

La palette di blush di Makeup Revolution è stata la mia fedele compagna per tutto il mese di luglio (e continuerà ad esserlo per i mesi a venire) perché i colori sono tutti sfruttabilissimi per ogni giorno e ogni occasione, sono pigmentati e durano a lungo. In più, i due illuminanti sono davvero stupendi e l’effetto finale sulla pelle si nota, pur rimanendo molto naturale.

Credo di aver trovato il mascara perfetto nel The falsies Push Up Angel mascara di Maybelline. Il suo scovolino  è unico: in silicone con i dentini solo da una parte - mai visto uno simile e così pratico! – separa e pettina le ciglia stupendamente e la sua formula è così leggera che vi scordate di averlo addosso. Non crea grumi e non si sgretola durante il giorno. Il migliore, davvero!

Era da un po’ che volevo provare uno dei rossetti matt di Jordana così nell’ultimo ordine su Maquibeauty (se volete vedere cosa ho preso date un’occhiata qui) ho inserito due tonalità nel carrello. Tra i due, Tangerine Tango è quello che più mi è piaciuto e che sto utilizzando praticamente tutte le volte che mi trucco! E’ un rosso- aranciato, con sottotono caldo bellissimo, facile da applicare e matt. La durata non è eccelsa ma è molto confortevole sulla labbra e per 2,29 € posso anche accontentarmi!

Infine un prodotto beauty, la crema contorno occhi Visionnaire Yeux di Lancome di cui ho ricevuto un campioncino in profumeria. Regala uno sguardo sano, riposato e svolge anche un’eccellente lavoro contro borse ed occhiaie.. non voglio neanche sapere il prezzo della full size!

Do you believe that in 11 days is mid-August? July has slipped away between torrid afternoons and  carefree days. My 30th birthday made me think about where I am and what I want in my life and, even though I am more confused than before, do you know what? It doesn't matter. Because we don't always have to analyze everything and everyone but live day by day, without too many expectations, only in this way life can really surprise us.

Philosophical thoughts aside, as promised, here is the post on my favorites of the month!

The heat of July induced me to definitely change the foundation I was using (which I will take back later in fall). My choice fell on Estée Lauder Double Wear and I loved it from the first use. Long-lasting, light on the skin but medium to full coverage, the only flaw is the (too) high price and the lack of applicator. I've reviewed it here and, if you want to see it applied on skin, this is my dedicated video.

To replace the Zoeva eyebrow pencil (which I have not found on Maquibeauty), I chose Ardell eyebrow pencil (you can find it on Notino) in the shade medium brown that turned out to be perfect for my eyebrows! The pencil tip has a triangle shape that I find very comfortable for the application and, at the opposite end, the comb is very functional. It does not smudge, it keeps all day and the price is very good (€ 6.90).

The blush palette from Makeup Revolution was my faithful companion for the entire month of July (and it will continue to be so for the next months) because the shades are all suitable for every day and every occasion, pigmented and long lasting. And the two highlighters are really beautiful and the final effect on the skin is noticeable, while remaining very natural.

I think I found the perfect mascara in Maybelline The falsies Push Up Angel. Its brush is unique: in silicone with small teeth only on one side - never seen a similar one and so practical! - It separates and combs eyelashes beautifully and its formula is so light that you forget to have it on. It does not create lumps and does not crumble during the day. The best, really!

It had been a while since I wanted to try one of Jordana matt lipsticks so in the last order on Maquibeauty (if you want to see what I bought take a look here) I added two shades to the cart. Between the two, Tangerine Tango is the one I liked the most and I'm using pretty much every time I do my make up! It's a red-orange tone, with beautiful warm undertone, easy to apply and matt. Its lenght is not excellent but it is very comfortable on lips and for € 2.29 I can also settle for!

Last but not least, a beauty product: the Visionnaire Yeux eye contour cream by Lancome, of which I received a sample in perfumery. It gives a healthy and rested look and also works great against bags and dark circles.. I do not even want to know the price of full size!
