My winter skincare routine

Anche se le giornate si stanno lentamente allungando e la luce del sole ci fa compagnia più a lungo, il freddo dell'inverno è ancora pungente e mai come in questo periodo sento la pelle secca e spenta.

Ecco perchè mi sto impegnando maggiormente a mantenere una costante e attenta skincare routine. 

Sono del parere che ogni stagione necessiti di abitudini e prodotti diversi, perchè diversi sono i bisogni della nostra pelle a seconda delle temperature e degli agenti atmosferici. 

Ho la pelle mista la maggior parte dell'anno, tranne in inverno - e quest'anno in particolare - in cui mi ritrovo a dover affrontare i segni di una pelle arida, con pellicine ai lati della bocca, naso e sulla fronte, per non parlare delle labbra che, a volte, sembra vogliano cadere a pezzi 😖 

Alla base della mia skincare routine, dunque, c'è l'idratante, anzi due: l' Original Skin Matt Moisturizer di Origins per il giorno poichè, oltre ad idratare, si assorbe velocemente lasciando la pelle perfettamente liscia e pulita, pronta per il fondotinta; e il gel idratante Ginzing, sempre di Origins, per la notte. Ne metto un po' di più e lascio che si assorba piano, come una maschera notturna idratante.. tanto il meccanismo quello è 😏

Al mattino, per prima cosa, lavo il viso con la mousse detergente Fleur de Vigne di Caudalie, perfetta perchè deterge senza seccare: una vera coccola! 

Tre volte a settimana, prima dell'idratante e dopo la mousse di Caudalie, picchietto sulla pelle il mio adorato Glow Tonic di Pixi, con un batuffolo di cotone. E' un portento contro le pellicine! 

Un giorno si e uno no, invece, abbino alla crema giorno il siero ristrutturante di Origins: la mia pelle lo beve in un secondo e la sensazione di pelle liscia e morbida dopo è fantastica!

In fase di struccaggio, quando il trucco è più "consistente", uso la minisize del gel struccante oleoso di Origins: lo spalmo con le dita soprattutto sulla zona perioculare e massaggio delicatamente per sciogliere ogni residuo di mascara. Poi passo un dischetto di cotone per portare via il tutto e procedo al risciacquo. 

Per le labbra uso il balsamo ai quattro burri di L'Erbolario, che ho terminato proprio in questi giorni - si accettano suggerimenti per un altro valido prodotto nutriente e ristrutturante labbra! 

Step semplici e pochi prodotti, ma buoni: questa è la mia filosofia. E la vostra? Quali sono i prodotti della vostra skincare routine che state utilizzando di più in questo periodo?

Even if days are slowly getting longer and the sunlight is more, the cold of winter is still biting and never like now I feel my skin dry and dull. That's why I want to keep a steady and careful skincare routine.

In my opinion every season needs different habits and products, because our skin has different needs depending on the temperatures and atmospheric agents.

I have combined skin most of the year, except in winter - and this year in particular - when I have to face the signs of dry skin, with dry patches on the sides of the mouth, nose and forehead, not to talk about my lips that sometimes seem to want to fall apart 😖

At the base of my skincare routine, therefore, there is the moisturizer, or rather two: the Original Skin Matt Moisturizer by Origins for the day as, in addition to hydrating, it blends quickly leaving the skin perfectly smooth and clean, ready for foundation; and the Ginzing moisturizing gel, from Origins, for the night. I put a little more and I let it absorb slowly, like a moisturizing night mask😏

In the morning, first of all, I wash my face with the Caudalie Fleur de Vigne cleansing mousse, perfect because it cleanses without drying: a real cuddle!

Three times a week, before the moisturizer and after the Caudalie mousse, I pat my beloved Pixi Glow Tonic with a cotton swab. It's perfect to renew the skin!

Every other day I use the Origins Skin Renewal serum with my day cream: my skin drinks it in a second and the feeling of smooth and soft skin is fantastic!

To remove my makeup, when it is more "consistent", I use the minisize of Refreshing cleansing gel from Origins: I apply it with my fingers especially on the area around the eyes and massage gently to dissolve any residual mascara. Then I pass a cotton pad to take away everything and proceed to rinse.

For the lips I use the balm from L'Erbolario, which I finished right in these days - any suggestions for another valuable nourishing lip balm?
