PIXI SKINCARE PRODUCTS THAT WORTH THE HYPE

Ho provato a scrivere un intro d'effetto e simpatica ma, visto che non pubblico da più di un mese e che l'ispirazione in questo periodo è pari a zero, inizio così: il mese scorso ho ricevuto una box firmata Pixi, contenente tutti prodotti skincare per il viso. Dopo aver avuto modo di testarli ed essermi fatta un'idea chiara in merito, per evitare di rendere questo post chilometrico e noiosissimo, mi limiterò a parlarvi dei miei preferiti, quelli che ho apprezzato di più e che ricomprerei!   

Partiamo dal prodotto che mi è piaciuto di più in assoluto, ovvero il DetoxifEye. Si tratta di patch occhi in idrogel che, grazie all'azione della caffeina e dell'acido ialuronico che contengono, sgonfiano e rivitalizzano l'area del contorno occhi. 

Vanno applicati nella zona perioculare - la parte più sottile rivolta verso l'angolo interno - e lasciati agire per 10 minuti. Una volta rimossi i patch (che sono monouso!) mi piace picchiettare delicatamente il gel rimasto sulla pelle fino a completo assorbimento. 

Quello che me li fa amare così tanto è la loro delicatezza, il loro potere idratante e soprattutto l'aspetto sano e fresco che apportano al contorno occhi. 

Se soffrite di secchezza perioculare questi patch fanno al caso vostro! Ho notato anche che sono davvero efficaci contro le occhiaie: certo, l'effetto è momentaneo ma abbastanza soddisfacente! 

Peccato che su Sephora Italia questo prodotto non è ancora disponibile 😕 ma potete comunque trovarlo sul sito inglese di Pixi.

Altro prodotto che sto apprezzando moltissimo è il Peel&Polish. Sapete cosa ne penso degli scrub: non li amo particolarmente, soprattutto perchè la maggior parte contiene granuli troppo duri o spessi, che risultano aggressivi sulla pelle. Il Peel&Polish non è un semplice e banale scrub, ma un gommage enzimatico a doppia azione: gli enzimi naturali della frutta rimuovono le cellule morte della pelle, mentre gli esfolianti naturali (ovvero i granuli presenti all'interno) rimuovono le impurità. Inoltre contiene acido lattico che esfolia delicatamente, cellulosa che leviga la pelle, ed estratti di zucchero che eliminano il colorito spento. 

Va applicato 2-3 volte a settimana, mattina o sera, sulla pelle asciutta di viso e collo. Va lasciato agire per 2 minuti e poi risciacquato. Per un effetto levigante più intenso si può massaggiare delicatamente con movimenti circolari, come uno scrub. 

Mi piace perchè elimina tutte le pellicine e l'aspetto di secchezza che caratterizza la mia pelle durante il cambio di stagione. 

Il suo prezzo è di 33,90 € per 80 ml di prodotto. 

Dopo aver provato le maschere in tessuto, quelle tradizionali hanno perso ogni attrattiva per me. Quindi non potevo non rimanere entusiasta del Glow Glycolic Boost, una maschera in tessuto ad effetto illuminante. E' imbevuta di siero concentrato di acido glicolico che illumina, ed estratti naturali che aiutano a migliorare e mantenere la salute della pelle.

Va applicata sulla pelle pulita e detersa e lasciata agire per 10-15 minuti. Anche in questo caso si può massaggiare il siero rimasto fino a completo assorbimento.

Mi piace la sensazione di freschezza che la maschera apporta alla pelle del viso, che sicuramente risulta più luminosa e idratata dopo. 

Anche questo prodotto, ahimè, non è disponibile sul sito italiano di Sephora.

Non posso non menzionare, infine, il panno in bamboo, davvero morbidissimo, presente all'interno della box. Ho cercato sul sito inglese ma, a quanto pare, non è in vendita..

E' davvero molto piacevole sulla pelle e io lo uso per tamponare il viso prima dell'asciugamano così che, se sono ancora presenti residui di trucco (soprattutto di matita occhi o mascara) questo pannetto mi permette di eliminarli senza "sporcare" l'asciugamano anche perchè, a differenza degli asciugamani in cotone, si pulisce facilmente in lavatrice anche a basse temperature.

Questi erano i prodotti che, secondo me, vale la pena provare di questo brand. Non perdete la seconda parte del post, in cui vi parlo, invece, di quelli che mi sono piaciuti meno!

I tried to write an effective and nice intro, but since I haven't published for more than a month and that I'm lacking inspiration, I start like this: last month I received a box signed by Pixi, containing all skincare products. After having had the opportunity to test them and get a clear idea about them, to avoid making this post mileage and very boring, I'll just talk to you about my favorites, the ones I've appreciated the most and that I'd buy again!

Let's start with the product that I liked the most, the DetoxifEye. They are eye patches in hydrogels that, thanks to the action of caffeine and hyaluronic acid that contain, deflate and revitalize the under- eye area.

They should be applied in the periocular area - the thinnest part facing the inner corner - and leave for 10 minutes. Once the patches are removed (which are disposable!) I like to gently tap the gel left on the skin until completely absorbed.

What makes me love them so much is their delicacy, their moisturizing power and above all the healthy and fresh appearance they bring to the eye area.

If you suffer from dry skin, then these patches are for you! And I also noticed that they are really effective against dark circles: of course, the effect is momentary but quite satisfying!

Too bad that on Sephora Italia this product is not yet available 😕 but you can still find it on Pixi's English site.

Another product that I am really enjoying is Peel & Polish. You know what I think of scrubs: I don't particularly love them, especially because most of them contain granules that are too hard or thick, which are aggressive on the skin. Peel & Polish is not a simple and banal scrub, but a double-action enzymatic gommage: the natural enzymes of the fruit remove dead skin cells, while natural exfoliants (ie the granules present inside) remove impurities. It also contains lactic acid that gently exfoliates, cellulose that smoothes the skin, and sugar extracts that eliminate dull complexion.

Apply 2-3 times a week, morning or evening, on the dry skin of the face and neck. It should be left to work for 2 minutes and then rinsed. For a more intense smoothing effect you can gently massage with circular movements, like a scrub.

I like it because it eliminates all the skin and the aspect of dryness that characterizes my skin during the change of season.

Its price is € 33.90 for 80 ml of product.

After trying out sheet masks, the traditional ones have lost all appeal to me. Therefore I could not remain enthusiast by the Glow Glycolic Boost, a brightening and hydrating effect sheet mask. It is soaked in a concentrated serum of glycolic acid that brightens, and natural extracts that help improve and maintain healthy skin.

It should be applied into clean skin and left to work for 10-15 minutes. Also in this case the remaining serum can be massaged until completely absorbed.

I like the feeling of freshness that the mask brings to the skin, which is certainly brighter and more hydrated afterwards.

Also this product, alas, is not available on the Italian site of Sephora.

Finally, I cannot fail to mention the very soft bamboo cloth inside the box. I searched on the English site but, apparently, it is not for sale ..

It is really very pleasant on the skin and I use it to dab the face before the towel so that, if there are still traces of makeup (especially eye pencil or mascara) this cloth allows me to eliminate them without "dirtying" the towel also because, unlike cotton towels, it is easy to clean in the washing machine even at low temperatures.

These were the products that, in my opinion, are worth trying for this brand. Do not miss the second part of the post, in which I talk about those that I liked least!
