7.30 del mattino. Guardo fuori dalla finestra di questa mia nuova stanza e vedo che ancora è buio. Ci sono i lampioni accessi e i tetti delle case qui intorno sono umidi di pioggia. Una pioggerellina sottile sottile che, a quanto pare, è molto frequente da queste parti. Sembra di essere a Prived Drive n 4: impressionante come le case di mattoni rossi e i giardini ben curati siano pressocchè identici a quelli di Harry Potter. Mi guardo intorno e penso che sarà una giornata molto fredda. L’ideale per iniziarla bene è una doccia calda. Prendo il mio accappatoio rosa dal cassetto dell'armadio e il beauty con tutto l'occorrente  e vado in bagno. Apro la pochette e tiro fuori bagnoschiuma e shampo*. Quest’ultimo mi è stato inviato da Labo Suisse e fa parte di Cadu-Crex Anticaduta PLC 7, che comprende anche il trattamento in fiale* e l’integratore alimentare in capsule*. Voglio iniziare a utilizzarli proprio adesso che i miei capelli sono in fase di forte stress: cambio di stagione, di latitudine e di abitudini..chissà se reggerà!

Entro in doccia, regolo la manopola del termostato e premo il bottoncino per far uscire l’acqua calda – qui funziona così 😄. Dopo 2 secondi sono sotto il getto caldo e vaporoso..ahh che meraviglia!

Metto un po’ di shampoo sul palmo della mano e comincio a massaggiarlo sui capelli, prima la cute e poi le lunghezze. Non fa molta schiuma, non sento quella sensazione di pulizia profonda. Risciacquo e ripeto l’operazione, stavolta con un po’ più di prodotto. La schiuma è maggiore e quando li sciacquo sento i capelli ben puliti. Li strizzo delicatamente e li avvolgo nell’asciugamano. Finisco di lavarmi ed esco dalla doccia.

Al momento di pettinarli sono un po’ annodati, ma procedo con delicatezza e riesco a districarli per bene. I capelli che mi rimangono in mano e quelli sulla spazzola sono una quantità impressionante…spero di non finire pelata!

Dopo averli asciugati prendo una delle fialette: sulla confezione leggo che “è un trattamento per la caduta dei capelli ad uso topico” “per aiutare a frenare il distacco dei capelli sia degli steli presenti nei follicoli singoli che nelle isole follicolari, favorendone la ri-crescita.” Continuando a leggere scopro che i componenti del brevetto caduta (Idrossiprolina, Acido Aspartico, Attivatore Enzimatico) e la Taurina sono associati al nuovo complesso Caduta specifico per le isole follicolari (composto da Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Oligopeptide-41, Nonapeptide-22, Decapeptide-19, Calcium Chloride, Hypericum Perforatum Extract). La box contiene 20 fialette che vanno applicate cinque giorni a settimana per un mese, quindi con due giorni di riposo tra un’applicazione e l’altra. Nella box sono compresi due tappi aprifiala e due applicatori in plastica morbida da inserire sulla fialetta per facilitare l'applicazione. Ne applico il contenuto su tutta la cute, procedendo dall’attaccatura frontale dei capelli fino alla nuca e massaggio per far penetrare il prodotto. Ha un odore un po’ forte che non è particolarmente piacevole, ma se serve a non farmi perdere più capelli, ben venga! Mi lavo le mani e scendo in cucina dove mi aspetta la mia prima colazione inglese.

Per le scale già sento odore di uova strapazzate e bacon..

Oggi c’è il sole ma il meteo sul mio cellulare mi dice che fuori ci sono 0°..mi avvicino alla finestra e tiro su le veneziane: tutto è ricoperto da un sottile strato di ghiaccio, le macchine, i vialetti delle case, l’erba dei giardini..sembra un paesaggio da National Geographic. Infilo le mie pantofole morbide e scendo a fare colazione. Stavolta mi preparo una bella tazza di caffelatte – caffè preparato con la moka – e ci inzuppo dentro due o tre shortbread – una specialità tipicamente scozzese che si potrebbe paragonare ai nostri frollini (?), deliziosamente burrosa e fragrante.

Dopo aver pettinato i capelli – la quantità che la spazzola raccoglie è ancora preoccupante - applico la fialetta di Cadu-Crex, la distribuisco uniformemente sulla cute e massaggio, come al solito.

Stamattina sono alla Newcastle University: un’ imponente serie di edifici di mattoni rossi dai profili bianchi con tantissime vetrate, che si affacciano su un cortile punteggiato da bordure di piante e fiori ben curate, con un prato centrale verdissimo che nessuno degli studenti si sognerebbe mai di calpestare.

Nonostante il sole faccia capolino di tanto in tanto, le temperature si aggirano intorno ai 2 gradi. Per trovare un po’ di riparo dal freddo pungente della Northumberland Street entro in uno dei tantissimi locali affollati ma accoglienti in cui servono sandwiches, tramezzini, torte e stuzzichini vari, accompagnati dalle bevande più svariate. Scelgo un sandwich alla senape e formaggio e una lattina di Raspberry Pepsi che consumo seduta al tavolino, circondata dall’allegro chiacchiericcio inglese. Dopo aver spazzolato il mio panino, tiro fuori dalla borsa l’integratore in compresse Cadu-Crex di Labo e ne prendo una. La sua formulazione contiene una base di amminoacidi (metionina, cistina, taurina, idrossiprolina e acido aspartico), di vitamine (E, B5, B6, H) e minerali (zinco, rame e selenio) che supportano la salute dei capelli e del cuoio capelluto. La scatola contiene 30 capsule, da assumersi ogni giorno per un mese, io di solito la prendo in concomitanza con i pasti principali, quindi pranzo o cena.

Infilo il giubbotto, i guanti e il cappello e m’immetto nuovamente nelle gelide strade del centro. La cosa più strana che ho notato da quando sono qui? Anche con svariati gradi sotto lo zero e la pioggia, gli inglesi riescono ad andare in giro in pantaloncini e maniche corte. Mi stringo al mio parka imbottito e proseguo verso Monument station, tra dieci minuti ho la metro per tornare a casa.

La prima settimana è passata..io continuo ancora a non capire una parola di quello che le persone di qui mi dicono e, porca miseria, fa sempre più freddo!😨

Sto continuando il trattamento anti-caduta, anche se, al momento, non vedo grossi cambiamenti..ma forse è ancora presto per giudicare. Nel frattempo applico la mia fialetta e poi comincio a prepararmi: oggi si va al Museo di Storia Naturale: è esposto lo scheletro di un T-Rex che, a quanto pare, vale la pena di vedere!

Nel pomeriggio ho fatto un giro da Primark che è un qualcosa di spettacolare! Quattro piani di vestiti, accessori, complementi d’arredo, insomma, il paradiso per le amanti dello shopping come me!

Le vie del centro sono piene di gente: studenti seduti ai tavolini di Starbucks, bambini e genitori intenti ad ammirare le vetrine di Fenwick (sembra siano un’attrazione natalizia che si rinnova di anno in anno) allegre e arzille vecchiette che se ne vanno a spasso con le amiche scambiandosi ricordi di gioventù, e poi ci sono loro, i gabbiani, che sfrecciano sopra le teste degli ignari passanti o si aggirano minacciosi tra la folla, in cerca di cibo.   

La metro è affollata e c’è un vento gelido che mi sta entrando fin dentro le ossa..non vedo l’ora di essere a casa.

Sotto il getto caldo della doccia penso che questa città comincia a piacermi: i luoghi, i tempi, perfino le persone sono simpatiche e gentili e, se per caso, ti urtano in metro o per strada, hanno sempre un “oh, sorry!” pronto per te. Mentre mi pettino davanti allo specchio guardo la spazzola..comincia ad essere meno piena di capelli caduti o spezzati. Apro l’ennesima fialetta di trattamento e la applico con cura sulla cute, ormai è diventato quasi un rituale.

L’aria umida, e forse più pesante, mi costringe a lavare i capelli più spesso del solito. Però dopo tre settimane di shampoo, fialette e compresse anti-caduta, i risultati cominciano a vedersi. Prima, durante il lavaggio, mi capitava di strizzare i capelli e portarne via una quantità esagerata. Ora sono molti di meno. E lo stesso ho notato quando li pettino.

Ho appena terminato il trattamento. Sono stata precisa e diligente, seguendo le dosi e le tempistiche riportate per ogni prodotto Cadu-Crex plc 7 e, dunque, sono pronta a darvi la mia opinione.

Generalmente la caduta dei capelli è normale, fisiologica e transitoria. Può essere favorita da fattori come lo stress, il cambio di stagione, l’inquinamento, diete drastiche o disturbi alimentari. Se la caduta è abbondante e si presenta come una condizione persistente, però, è il caso di rivolgersi ad uno specialista.

Io ho scelto di provare il trattamento anticaduta Cadu-Crex PLC 7 di Labo Suisse e, vista la mia esperienza, mi ritengo abbastanza soddisfatta. 
Ho notato sicuramente una minore caduta dei capelli, soprattutto durante il lavaggio. Inoltre li sento anche più corposi, forti e - sarà la suggestione? - anche un po' più lucidi, splendenti, insomma. Evidentemente tutte le vitamine e le sostanze del trattamento hanno esercitato un generale effetto curativo sul capello.

7.30 in the morning. I am looking out of the window of my new room and I can see that it 's still dark outside. Street lights are on and the roofs of the houses around here are wet with rain. A thin drizzle that, apparently, is very frequent here. It seems to be in Privet Drive number 4: impressive how the red brick houses and well-kept gardens are almost identical to those of Harry Potter. I'm looking around and I think it will be a very cold day. The ideal start of the day is with a hot shower. I'm taking my pink bathrobe from the closet drawer and the beauty case with everything I need and I'm heading to the bathroom. I'm opening the beauty case and taking out shower gel and shampoo*. The latter was sent to me by Labo Suisse and is part of Cadu-Crex Anticaduta PLC 7, which also includes the treatment in ampoules and the food supplement in capsules. I want to start using them right now as my hair is under severe stress: change of season, latitude and habits..I hope it works!

Just in the shower, adjusting the thermostat knob and pressing the button to release the hot water - this is how it works here 😄. After 2 seconds I am under the hot and vaporous jet..delightful!

I put a little amount of shampoo on the palm of my hand and begin to massage it on the hair, first the scalp and then the lengths. It doesn't make a lot of foam, I don't feel that deep cleansing sensation. I rinse and repeat the operation, this time with a little more product. The foam is greater and when I rinse it I feel my hair is clean. I squeeze it gently and wrap it in a towel. After I finish washing my body I come out of the shower. When I comb my hair, it is a little knotted, but I proceed gently and manage to untangle it well. The hair that remains in my hand and on the brush is an impressive amount ... I hope not to end up bald!
After drying it, I take one of the ampoules: on the package I read that "it is a treatment for hair loss for topical use" "to help curb the detachment of the hair both of the stems present in the single follicles and in the follicular islands, favoring the re- growth”. As I read, I discover that the components of the hair loss patent (Hydroxyproline, Aspartic Acid, Enzyme Activator) and Taurine are associated with the new specific complex for follicular islands (composed of Alpha-Lipoic Acid, Oligopeptide-41, Nonapeptide- 22, Decapeptide-19, Calcium Chloride, Hypericum Perforatum Extract). The box contains 20 vials that must be applied five days a week for a month, then with two days of rest between one application and another. The box includes two caps for opening the vials and two applicators in soft plastic to be inserted on the vial to facilitate the application. I apply the contents to the whole skin, proceeding from the front hairline to the neck and massage it to soak the product. It has a slightly strong smell which is not particularly pleasant, but if it helps to keep me from losing more hair, then so be it! I wash my hands and go down to the kitchen where my first English breakfast is awaiting for me.
I already smell scrambled eggs and bacon ..

Today it's sunny but the weather app on my phone tells me that it's 0° outside.. I'm reaching the window and pulling up the blinds: everything is covered with a thin layer of ice: cars, driveways of the houses, grass of the gardens.. it looks like a landscape from National Geographic. I put on my soft slippers and go downstairs for breakfast. This time I make a nice cup of caffelatte - with coffee prepared in the mocha - and soak in two or three shortbreads - a typically Scottish specialty that could be compared to our frollini (?), deliciously buttery and fragrant.

After combing my hair - the amount that the brush collects is still worrying - I apply the Cadu-Crex vial, spreading it evenly on the skin and massaging, as usual.

I'm at the Newcastle University this morning: an imposing series of red brick buildings with white profiles with lots of windows, overlooking a courtyard dotted with borders of well-kept plants and flowers, with a green central lawn that no student would ever dream of to trample.
Despite the sun peeking out from time to time, temperatures hover around 2 degrees. To find some shelter from the bitter cold of Northumberland Street, I enter one of the many crowded but welcoming places where sandwiches, cakes and varied drinks are served. I choose a mustard and cheese sandwich and a can of Raspberry Pepsi which I eat sitting at the table, surrounded by cheerful English chatter. After I finished eating my sandwich, I take one of the tratment capsules out of my bag. Even with varying degrees below zero and rain, British  guys manage to go around in shorts and t-shirts. The first week has passed..I still do not understand a word of what people here tell me and, damn it, it's getting colder! 😨
I'm continuing the anti hair loss treatment, even if, at the moment, I don't see big changes..but maybe it's still too early to judge. In the meantime I'm applying my vial and then I start to get ready: today I'm going to go to the Natural History Museum: the skeleton of a T-Rex is exhibited which, apparently, is worth seeing!

In the afternoon I took a tour of Primark which is something spectacular! Four floors of clothes, accessories, furnishings, in short, a paradise for shopping lovers like me!

The streets of the centre are full of people: students sitting at the tables of Starbucks, children with their parents intent on admiring the windows at Fenwick (it seems to be a Christmas attraction that is renewed every year) cheerful and sprightly old women who go walking with friends talking about old memories, and then there are them, the seagulls, darting over the heads of unsuspecting passers-by or wandering around threateningly in the crowd, looking for food.
The metro is crowded and there I'm frozen to the bone... I can't wait to be home.

Under the hot shower jet I think I like this city: its places, its views and also people are nice and kind and, if by chance, they hit you on the subway or on the street, they always have an "oh, sorry!" ready for you. While I comb in front of the mirror I look at the brush. It begins to be less full of fallen or broken hair. I open the umpteenth treatment vial and apply it carefully on the skin, it has now become almost a ritual.

The moist and perhaps heavier air, forces me to wash my hair more often than usual. But after three weeks of shampoo, ampoules and anti-hair loss tablets, the results begin to show. Before, during washing, I used to wring my hair and take away a ridiculous amount, now there is much less which I especially notice whilst combing.

I have just finished the treatment. I have been precise and diligent, following the doses and timing reported for each Cadu-Crex plc 7 product and, therefore, I am ready to give you my opinion.

Generally hair loss is normal, physiological and transient. It can be favored by factors such as stress, the change of season, pollution, drastic diets or eating disorders. If the loss is abundant and a persistent condition, however, it is appropriate to contact a specialist.

I chose to try the Cadu-Crex PLC 7 fall protection treatment by Labo Suisse and, given my experience, I am quite satisfied.

I definitely noticed less hair loss, especially during washing. Furthermore, I also feel that it is more full-bodied, stronger and - dare I say - even a little more shiny. Evidently all the vitamins and substances of the treatment have exerted a general curative effect on the hair.

In conclusion, I would recommend this treatment!
