Le decorazioni per l'autunno sono quelle che mi piacciono di più, perchè l'autunno è la mia stagione preferita, perchè adoro i suoi colori caldi che richiamano quello della terra e delle foglie sugli alberi, perchè ci si comincia a preparare per il Natale. Ho realizzato questi progetti prendendo spunto dagli elementi tipici di questa stagione - come le zucche - ispirandomi un po' allo stile shabby (che adoro) e utilizzando materiali semplici, rustici, quasi tutti trovati durante le mie passeggiate in campagna.
Finalmente posso condividere con voi ciò che ho realizzato!

E mentre i giorni, pian piano, scorrono via, ecco avvicinarsi un nuovo mese, carico di impegni, nuovi buoni propositi, nuovi obiettivi e...qualche nuvola nei week end! >.< E visto che il cielo grigio e umido di questi giorni non ci aiuta ad entrare nel mood primaverile, ho pensato che qualche nuovo progettino fai-da-te, a tema floreale e non, possa risollevare gli animi e metterci di buon umore!

E così anche Dicembre è arrivato, con le sue mattine fredde, le sue strade colorate e le case addobbate! 

Avete già fatto l'albero? Io non ancora: a casa mia si aspetta tradizionalmente la festa dell'Immacolata per iniziare, ma i (miei) preparativi sono in corso già da qualche giorno. Anche quest'anno ho voluto creare qualche decorazione fai-da-te e stavolta mi sono lasciata ispirare dalla natura e dai "materiali" trovati durante una delle mie passeggiate in campagna. 

BOHO IDEAS TO DECOR YOUR ROOM

Anti-conformista, anti-convenzionale, eccentrico, selvaggio, gipsy: solo solo alcuni dei significati della parola BOHEMIEN.

Uno stile di vita che può piacere o no.

Personalmente, mi affascina molto questo modo di essere, questa filosofia dallo stile così particolare, radicale, essenziale, caratterizzato da un apparente disordine che richiama un profondo legame con la terra e la natura che ci circonda, in ogni fase della sua esistenza.

Come sapete, ultimamente sto ri-progettando camera mia - che ha subìto dei danni a causa del maltempo di quest'inverno - e ho deciso che sarà tutta bianca, con tocchi di colore fucsia e rosa e qualche accento boho-chic. 

Basta davvero poco per dare ad una stanza quel tocco bohemien: un tappeto colorato; tessuti dalle stampe geometriche; oggetti in legno grezzo; cuscini; piume; acchiappa-sogni; fili di luci e qualche piantina grassa sparsa un po' qua e là. Oggi voglio condividere con voi alcuni dei progetti che ho realizzato.

L'altro giorno passeggiavo in riva al mare e, tra i pezzi di legno che le onde hanno ributtato sulla spiaggia durante l'ultima mareggiata, ne ho raccolto uno tutto contorno e levigato dall'azione instancabile del mare e degli agenti atmosferici, e l'ho portato a casa.

Ripensandoci, questo piccolo pezzo di legno deve averne fatta di strada! Chissà da quale foresta proviene e quale sia stato il suo percorso fin qui..così ho deciso che ne avrei fatto qualcosa. E così è stato!

Innanzitutto ho segnato, con una matita, i punti in cui andranno i chiodi (che devono essere a testa larga). Una volta fissati i chiodi ho usato un laccio annodato, da un'estremità all'altra, per appendere il porta collane al muro.  

Adoro i vasi pieni di fiori e quando ho visto questi su Pinterest, non ho resistito!! Dovevo rifarli per camera mia! Il sistema per creare queste piccole "reti" che contengono il vaso è davvero semplice: spiegarlo potrebbe complicare le cose quindi vi lascio semplicemente alle immagini.

Dentro i vasi ho inserito della sabbiolina decorativa rosa, un po' d'acqua e la nebbiolina, che adoro! Qualche rosellina per richiamare il colore fucsia e il gioco è fatto ^-^ Ovviamente si possono inserire dentro anche delle candele, o delle piccole tea-light per rendere un po' più magica l'atmosfera. Me le immagino sospese anche tra i rami di un albero in giardino...*-*

Infine, il progetto di cui vado più fiera: l'acchiappasogni!

Ho utilizzato un cerchio in rame che avevo già - ma se ne trovano in plastica, legno, ecc.. (nei negozi per fai-da-te, tipo Brico) e, pazientemente, ho avvolto attorno ad esso del filo da ricamo colorato,  più e più volte, fino a rivestirlo completamente, fissandolo con della colla a caldo.

Dopodichè ho cominciato a tessere la rete: ho annodato un'estremità del filo da ricamo al cerchio e, procedendo in senso orario, ho teso il filo e l'ho annodato attorno al cerchio a circa 5 cm di distanza. Ho ripetuto il procedimento fino a tornare al primo nodo. Durante questi passaggi il filo non deve essere teso troppo.

A questo punto ho ripetuto il procedimento come prima, facendo passare il filo tra il primo e il secondo nodo, continuando così per ogni fila che si crea, fino ad ottenere una rete con un piccolo foro nel centro.

Ho annodato il filo sull'ultimo punto, fermandolo con un doppio nodo. 

Il colore è diverso rispetto a quello sotto perchè ne ho fatti due :)

E ora la parte più divertente: ho annodato all'estremità inferiore dei nastri colorati (bianchi e rosa), una treccia fatta con fili di perline, due fiorellini di carta, merletti e chi più ne ha più ne metta! Spazio alla fantasia! 

Infine, all'estremità superiore ho legato un pezzetto di filo creando una piccola asola a cui appendere l'acchiappasogni e voilà!

A lifestyle that you can love or not.

Personally, I'm very fascinated by this lifestyle and its unique, radical, essential design, featured by an apparent mess that recalls a deep connection with the nature around us, in every phase of its existence.

As you know, lately I'm re-designing my room - which was damaged  by the bad weather this winter - and I decided that it will be all white, with touches of fuchsia and pink and a few boho-chic accent.

So today I want to share with you some of the projects that I made. 

Just few things to give a room that bohemian touch: a colorful rug; geometric printed fabrics; rough wooden decorations; pillows; feathers; dreamcatcher; fairylights and some succulents here and there.

The other day I was walking by the sea and, among the driftwoods that waves have thrown back on the beach during the last storm, I picked up one and the I brought it at home.

Looking back, this little piece of wood must have come a long way! Who knows what forest is coming from and what was its path untill here..fascinated by all this, I decided that I would have turned that driftwood in something. And so it was:

First I marked the points where the nails (which should be broad-headed) would be. I fixed the nails and I used a string to hang it at wall. 

I love the pots full of flowers and when I saw these on Pinterest, I could not resist !! I had to redo them for my room! The way to create these small nets containing jars is really simple: explain it could be complicated so I will let the pictures speak

Then I put a little bit of pink sand, some water and some flowers inside the jars but of course you can also put in candles, or small tea-light to create a lovely atmosphere. I can imagine them hanging on the branches of a tree in the garden  * - *

Finally, the project of which I am most proud of: the dreamcatcher!

I used a copper circle that I already had - but you can find them in plastic, wood, etc, (in diy stores) and, patiently, I wrapped around it colorful thread, over and over again, until to cover it completely, securing it with hot glue.

Then I began to weave the net: I tied one end of the thread to the circle and moving clockwise, I stretched the wire and I knotted around the circle about 5 cm away. I repeated the process until I return to the first node. During these steps the wire should not be too tight.

At this point I repeated the procedure as before, by passing the thread between the first and the second knot, thus continuing for each row that is created, to create a net with a small hole in the center.

I knotted the thread on the last point, stopping him with a double knot.

And now the fun part: to the lower end I knotted some colored ribbons (white and pink), a braid made with beads strands, two paper flowers, lace and so on and so forth!

DIY EASTER DECORATIONS/GIFT/TREATS IDEAS

La primavera è una delle mie stagioni preferite. Cieli azzurri, temperature più miti, colori pastello, il risveglio della natura, uova colorate e soffici coniglietti pasquali: ecco perchè mi piace! 

Anche se, al momento, il meteo non ne vuole sapere di mostrarci questo meraviglioso volto di Marzo, e il grigiore di questi giorni è davvero insopportabile! 

Così - vista la mia metereopatia - per tirarmi un po' su di morale e portare in casa quel tocco di colore e di clima pasquale (eh già, quest'anno la Pasqua capita proprio in questo mese) ho pensato di realizzare dei progetti diy molto semplici ma davvero sfiziosi e tutti semplicissimi da ricreare, quindi non necessitano di troppe spiegazioni "tecniche", le foto parlano da sole ;)

Spring is one of my favorite seasons. Blue skies, milder temperatures, pastel colors, nature blooming, colorful eggs and fluffy Easter bunny: that's why I like it!

Although, at the moment, the weather doesn't want to show us this wonderful March's face, and the greyness of these days is really unbearable!

So - given my metereopatia - to cheer me up and bring home a touch of color and Easter mood I planned to realize a lot of simple diy projects. Very easy to recreate, they don't need too much explanations, following photos speak for themselves;)

EASTER BUNNY CANVAS

Ovviamente nei colori pastello! Giallo, lilla, rosa..con stencil sul davanti a forma di coniglietto!

Basta qualche pietra colorata, un po' di paglietta e dei piccoli fiori bianchi per ricreare un bellissimo nido, dentro un vaso di vetro! Molto shabby!

EASTER SWEETS CONES

Qualcosa di diverso dal solito uovo di Pasqua, da riempire con caramelle, ovetti di zucchero, cioccolatini...

Something different from the usual Easter egg, fill with candy, sugar eggs, chocolates ...

SPRING RED FRUITS AND LIME DRINKS

Da preparare in quantità e portare al pic-nic di Pasquetta: per la ricetta ai frutti rossi basta mescolare succo di frutti rossi, limonata, sciroppo di ribes (o di fragola) e ghiaccio; per quella al lime: tè verde, sciroppo d'acero, succo di lime e ghiaccio. Provatele, sono strepitose!  

To prepare in quantity and bring for Easter Monday picnic! First recipe: just mix red fruit juice, lemonade, currant syrup (or strawberry) and ice; second recipe: mix toghether green tea, maple syrup, lime juice and ice. 

They're so amazing!

DIY: RING DISHES

Febbraio è letteralmente volato via e le giornate si fanno sempre più lunghe e luminose, lasciandoci intravedere i primi segni di una tiepida primavera (è solo una mia impressione o questo 2016 ha messo il turbo?) 

Coomunque, quest'inverno le forti piogge hanno provocato non pochi danni alla mia povera cameretta, dove l'acqua, infiltrandosi attraverso le pareti, ha gonfiato e scrostato via tutta la vernice, creando orribili chiazze che fanno intravedere l'intonaco grigio del muro sottostante. 

Devo avere pazienza e aspettare che le pareti si asciughino per bene dall'umidità che si è creata e in primavera potrò, finalmente, ridipingere tutto quanto. Credo proprio che le farò un bel restyling!

 ^-^

Nel frattempo, quindi, sto preparando diversi progettini per decorarla e darle quell'aspetto "shabby-girly-glam-chic" che mi frulla in testa già da un po' ;) 

Dunque questo è il primo progetto di una serie che - ovviamente - condividerò con voi!

Ormai sapete che adoro curiosare su Pinterest alla ricerca di idee carine e facili da riproporre e realizzare e ultimamente mi sono fissata su un oggetto in particolare, che vedo praticamente ovunque nelle foto di flatlays (la mia nuova droga!): i piattini porta anelli o ring dishes *-*

Ce ne sono davvero di tutti i tipi, forme e dimensioni, ma uno in particolare - che ho adocchiato su Etsy - mi ha davvero fatto innamorare! 

Costa intorno ai 23 euro (i baffi e le orecchie sono ricoperti da foglia in oro 22k) ma perchè spendere tanto quando ci si può divertire a realizzarlo da se spendendo solo 2,50 euro?

COSA SERVE

1 panetto di das bianco;

mattarello (o una bottiglia rotonda di vetro)

coltello a lama liscia

un piattino da frutta (o una ciotolina) 

colori acrilici

PROCEDIMENTO 

1. Ho disegnato su un foglio di carta la sagoma del mio gattino e l'ho ritagliata.

2. Ho steso con il mattarello il das in una sfoglia di circa mezzo centimetro (vi consiglio di lavorare su dei fogli di giornale e con dei guanti).

3. Ho appoggiato il disegno sopra la sfoglia di das e ho ritagliato - non importa se i bordi non escono perfettamente lisci e dritti.

4 . Ho lasciato asciugare il piattino appoggiandolo sopra una superficie concava (un altro piattino o una coppetta) 

5. Con della carta vetrata a grana sottile ho rifinito i bordi, levigando bene ma delicatamente. 

6. Con i colori acrilici ho dipinto le orecchie e ho disegnato i baffi 

Se si vuole ottenere un finish lucido, si può passare una mano di vernice spray trasparente o flatting.

Con lo stesso procedimento, ma utilizzando forme e colori diversi ne ho realizzati altri, ero proprio in vena quel giorno ^-^

February is literally blown away and days are getting longer and brighter, leaving us to glimpse the first signs of a warm spring (is it just me or this 2016 is going fast?)

Anyway, this winter heavy rains caused some damage to my poor bedroom where the water, seeping through the walls, inflated and blowed away all the paint, creating horrible patches that provide a glimpse of the gray plaster of wall below.

I have to have patience and wait for the walls to dry so in spring I can repaint them! I think I'll do a beautiful makeover ^ - ^

Meanwhile, therefore, I am preparing several diy projects to decorate and give my room that "shabby-girly-glam-chic" look that is in my mind for a while ;)

So this is the first project in a series that - of course - I will share with you!

You know that I love browsing on Pinterest and looking for nice and easy ideas to propose and realize and lately I put my eyes on a certain item, that I see almost anywhere in flatlay pics (my dope!): ring dishes * - *

You can find them in all types, shapes and sizes, but one in particular - that I spotted on Etsy - really made me fall in love!

It costs about 23 € (mustaches and ears are covered with a 22k gold leaf) but why to spend so much when you can have fun to make it and spending only 2.50 €?

If you like to create and you love hairy muzzles, then follow me in this tutorial!

WHAT YOU NEEDED

white modeling dough (das);

rolling pin (or a round glass bottle)

knife blade smooth

a fruit plate (or bowl)

acrylic colors

METHOD

1. On a paper sheet I draw the shape of my kitty and I cut it out.

2. I stretched the das dough into a half a centimeter foil (I suggest you to work on some newspapers and using gloves).

3. I cut the shape following the cat pattern done before - no matter if edges don't come out perfectly smooth and straight.

4. I let it dry resting on a concave surface (another plate or a cup)

5. With thin-grit sandpaper I finished edges, smoothing well but gently.

6. With acrylic colors I painted ears and mustaches

If you want to get a shiny finish, you can give a coat of gloss spray paint.

Using the same system, but different shapes and colors I made other ring dishes, I was just in the mood that day ^ - ^

VALENTINES DAY TREATS & GIFT IDEAS

Perchè alla fine, ciò che conta davvero non è COSA regalare a San Valentino, ma COME regalarlo!
E se ci mettiamo il nostro amore e il nostro impegno, allora anche un semplice cioccolatino sarà il più prezioso dei doni!
Ieri mi sono messa ai fornelli (come saprete se mi seguite su Instagram) e ho deciso di provare a realizzare dei dolcetti da regalare al mio amore domenica prossima e, siccome il risultato è davvero delizioso, ho deciso di condividerlo con voi!

RICETTA N.1 - LOLLIPOPS CIOCCOLATOSI
Per realizzare questi deliziosi cioccolatini basta davvero poco: una torta al cioccolato (io ho usato due plum cake); una noce di burro; cioccolato al latte; cioccolato bianco; codette di zucchero colorate; spiedini in legno.

Ho sbriciolato in una ciotola i plum cake, ho aggiunto 50 g di cioccolato al latte sciolto a bagnomaria, il burro e ho impastato per bene. Ho creato delle palline con il composto e le ho lasciate indurire in frigo per mezz'ora. Ho infilato ogni pallina su uno spiedino e l'ho passata nel cioccolato al latte (sempre sciolto a bagnomaria). Ho realizzato delle strisce con il cioccolato bianco fuso e infine ho spolverato sopra le codette di zucchero.

RICETTA N.2 - BRETZEL GOLOSI
Avete presente i salatini a forma di bretzel? Li ho immersi per metà nel cioccolato bianco e li ho spolverati di codette rosa e fucsia. Li ho lasciati raffreddare in frigo e il risultato è davvero strepitoso e così carino da vedere!  

RICETTA N.3 - HEART BATH BOMBS 
Anche ai maschietti piace fare bagni rilassanti con tante bolle e allora ho realizzato queste bath bombs a forma di cuore. La ricetta è la stessa di quelle che ho realizzato qui, ma al posto dell'olio essenziale di arancia ho utilizzato l'essenza di muschio bianco (più indicata per l'olfatto maschile) e qualche goccia di colorante alimentare rosa. Per renderlo più "Sanvalentinoso" ho aggiunto all'impasto delle codette di zucchero a forma di cuore ^-^

Because in the end, what really matters is not WHAT to give on Valentine's Day, but HOW to give it!
And if we put our love and our commitment, even some simple chocolates will be the most precious of gifts.
Yesterday I spend my morning in the kitchen (as you know if you follow me on Instagram) trying out some sweets to give to my love next Sunday, and because the result is really delicious, I decided to share it with you!

RECIPE N.1 - CHOCOLATE LOLLIPOPS
To make these delicious treats is very easy and all you need is: a chocolate cake (I used two little plum cakes); a knob of butter; milk chocolate; white chocolate; sugar sprinkles; wooden sticks or strows.
I crumbled the plum cake in a bowl, addeding 50 gr. of melted chocolate, butter and I mixed it well. I made small balls with the mixture and I let them harden in the fridge for half an hour. I sticked each ball in the wooden stick and I deep the lollipops inside the melted milk chocolate. I added some strips with melted white chocolate and the sprinkles.
RECIPE N.2 - CHOCO PTRETZELS
You will need: some ptretzels, melted white chocolate and sprinkles.
I deep ptretzel half way into the white chocolate, placing them on a baking paper and adding sprinkles and wait untill the chocolate cools down completely. The result is truly amazing and so cute to see!
RECIPE N.3 - HEART BATH BOMBS
Even boys love to do relaxing baths with lots of bubbles and so I realized these heart bath bombs. The recipe is the same as those which I made here, but instead of essential oil of orange I used the white musk essence (more suitable for the male smell) and a few drops of pink food coloring. To make it more "theme Valentine" I added to the mixture some heart shaped sprinkles ^ - ^

DIY: BATH BOMBS!!!

Chi non vorrebbe concedersi qualche minuto di totale relax immersa in una vasca calda, profumata e piena di bolle? E se ci aggiungessimo anche una meravigliosa bomba da bagno super frizzante?

Le ho sempre adorate e ora ho anche scoperto che sono facilissime da realizzare! Pochi ingredienti - quasi tutti già sugli scaffali della nostra cucina - per un risultato "superlushioso"!

COSA SERVE

(Ingr. secchi)

-mezza tazza di sale;

-mezza tazza di acido citrico (se non riuscite a trovarlo potete sostituirlo con il cremor tartaro, o semplicemente aggiungendo qualche goccia di succo di limone all'acqua)

-mezza tazza di amido di mais;

-una tazza di bicarbonato di sodio;

(Ingr. liquidi)

-2 cucchiaini di olio essenziale (io ho usato quello all'arancia);

-2 cucchiaini e mezzo di olio di mandorle dolci (potete sostituirlo con quello d'oliva o di cocco);

-qualche goccia di colorante alimentare a scelta;

-4,5 cucchiai di acqua

Stampini (in plastica, silicone, carta) - io ho scelto una decorazione natalizia apribile, a forma di stella

PROCEDIMENTO

1-2. In una ciotola riunite tutti gli ingredienti secchi e mescolate;

3. A parte mescolate tutti gli ingredienti liquidi;

4. Versate poco alla volta i liquidi nella miscela di polveri e amalgamate velocemente;

5. Il composto deve risultare "sbriciolato" ma compatto, come nella foto;

6-7. Riempite abbondantemente le due metà dello stampo e sovrapponetele;

8. Aspettate qualche secondo e, prima di sformare, date qualche colpetto sulla superficie dello stampo;

Lasciate riposare le vostre bombe per almeno un giorno (se dovessero sbriciolarsi, mettetele in freezer).

Godetevi il vostro bagno frizzante!

Who doesn't like to relax in a hot, scented and full of bubbles bath? And if we also add a wonderful super fizzy bath bomb?

I always liked Lush bath bombs and now I discovered that they are very easy to make at home! Few ingredients - almost all of them already in our pantries - for a "superlushious" result!

WHAT YOU NEED

(Dry ingredients)

- 1/2 cup salt;

- 1/2 cup citric acid (if you can't find it you can replace it with the cream of tartar, or simply by adding a few drops of lemon juice to the water)

- 1/2 cup corn starch;

- 1 cup baking soda;

(Wet ingredients)

-2 Teaspoons of essential oil (I used orange);

-2 1/2 teaspoons of almond oil (you can replace it with olive or coconut oil);

- Some drops of food coloring of your choice (I did not use any);

- 4 or 5 Tablespoons water

Molds (plastic, silicon, paper) - I chose a Christmas plastic star ornament

HOW TO DO

1-2. In a bowl combine all dry ingredients and mix;

3. Separately mix all wet ingredients;

4. Pour gradually the wet mixture into the dry one and quickly mix;

5. The mixture should be "crumbled" but compact, as in the picture;

6-7. Fill both sides overflowing with the mixture and press them together firmly;

8. Wait a few second and then lightly tap with a spoon to loosen the mold;

Let dry your bombs for at least a day (if they were to crumble, put them in the freezer).

Enjoy your fizzy bath!

Non appena ho immerso la mia bath bomb nell'acqua si è sprigionato un delizioso profumo di arancia! E dopo il bagno la mia pelle era super morbida e liscia! 

As soon as I put my bath bomb into the water, a delicious orange scent came off! And after the bath my skin was so soft and smooth!

DIY: COPPER PYRAMID

Qualche tempo fa avevo inserito nella mia home wishlist una piramide-terrario dorata dal design molto minimal e dal gusto un po' bohemien che, a giudicare dai commenti, vi era piaciuta molto. Così ho pensato di provare a realizzarla, ovviamente semplificando un po' il progetto iniziale, che prevedeva sottili lastre di vetro tutt'intorno alla struttura di ferro.

Quello che ho creato io è più un contenitore aperto che può essere utilizzato come portagioielli, porta-candele, o ancora come terrario, con dentro una bella piantina grassa. In ogni caso lo trovo un oggetto molto originale e particolarissimo.

Tutto quello che vi serve per realizzare questa piramide è:

- tubi in rame da 6mm (potete trovarli nei negozi di termoidraulica o dal ferramenta)

- fil di ferro sottile

- mini taglierino per tubi

1-2-3.Innanzitutto ho tagliato i tubi in rame nella lunghezza desiderata: con l'apposito taglierino ho ricavato 4 pezzi da 16 cm e 4 da 24 cm di lunghezza.

4. Ho unito insieme i tubi più corti facendo passare al loro interno il fil di ferro (circa 70 cm)

5. Ho creato una forma quadrata

6. E unito insieme le due estremità attorcigliando il fil di ferro.

7-8. Sui due tubi paralleli ho infilato un altro pezzo di fil di ferro (sempre di 70 cm) e ho inserito i tubi più lunghi

9-10. Ho creato la piramide riunendo tutte le estremità dei fil di ferro, attorcigliandoli per bloccarne la forma.

Some weeks ago I included in my home wishlist a golden pyramid terrarium that you liked a lot. So I tried to realize it, obviously simplifying a little bit the initial project, which provided thin sheets of glass all around the iron structure.

What I've created is an open container that can be used as jewelry boxes, candle holders, or as terrarium containing some beautiful succulents. In any case I find it a very original and special decor.

All you need to realize this pyramid is:

- Copper pipes 6mm in diameter (you can find them in plumbing supply stores)

- Thin wire

- Mini tubing cutter

HOW TO DO

1-2-3. I cut the copper pipes: with the cutter I got 4 pieces of 16 cm and 4 of 24 cm long.

4. I joined together the shorter tubes passing inside them the wire (about 70 cm)

5. I created a square shape

6. I joined together the two ends by twisting the wire.

7-8. On the two parallel tubes I inserted another piece of wire (about 70 cm) and I put on it the longer tubes

9-10. I created the pyramid by bringing together all the ends of the wire, by twisting to lock the form.

DIY: GEOMETRIC NECKLACE

Vi ricordate il post sui miei buoni propositi per l'anno nuovo? Uno dei cinque punti riguardava un colore in particolare, che mi proponevo di inserire all'interno del mio guardaroba. Sto parlando del rosa quarzo. No, non ho comprato QUEL paio di scarpe, ma in questo diy è presente proprio quella tonalità di rosa, insieme all'azzurro serenity, altro protagonista dei prossimi mesi, a quanto pare. 

Quando ho visto la foto di questo tipo di collane su Pinterest non ho resistito, dovevo realizzarle! Ma al posto della pasta polimerica di cui erano fatte quelle originali, io le ho rielaborate in un materiale diverso: il cuoio! Non trovate anche voi che abbiano un aspetto un po' indie-chic? Le trovo perfette per un outfit casual o boho ^-^

1. Per prima cosa ho ritagliato da un pezzo di cuoio due triangoli di diverse dimensioni e ho praticato, con l'apposito aggeggio, dei piccoli fori ai lati del triangolo più grande.

2. Ho dipinto i triangoli con due diversi colori acrilici (nel mio caso azzurro e oro, ma le possibilità sono infinite) e, con la colla a caldo, ho attaccato il triangolo più piccolo su quello più grande.

3. Ho fatto passare una catenina dorata a maglie sottili nei due fori, inserendo un anellino di congiunzione ad entrambe le estremità (fig.3), più una chiusura a moschettone (fig.4-5). 

Et voilà!

Che ne pensate? Spero che questo progetto vi sia piaciuto, perchè ce ne sono moolti altri in arrivo!

Do you remember the post about my new year resolutions? Well, one of the five points refered to a particular color, which I intended to include in my future outfits. I'm talking about the rose quartz. No, I did not buy THAT pair of shoes, but in this DIY project there is just that shade of pink, as well as blue serenity, another star of the next few months.

When I saw the picture of this kind of necklaces on Pinterest I could not resist, I had to realize them! But instead of the polymer paste, of which the original were made, I reworked these in a different material: leather! I think they are so indie-chic, isn't ? So perfect for a casual or boho outfit! ^ - ^

1. For the first step I cut out two triangles of different sizes from a piece of leather and with the proper tool, I practiced  two small holes on the sides of the larger triangle.

2. I painted the two triangles in different acrylic colors (I used blue and gold, but you can use any other colors) and I hot glued the smaller triangle on the larger one.

3. I inserted a thin gold chain into the holes and a trigger clasp just on one end.

Et voila!

A festive makeup look + a simple sparkling diy

Buongiorno mie care e buon ultimo dell'anno!!

Stanotte qui da me le temperature si sono abbassate parecchio e stamattina, uscendo in pigiama fuori dal balcone, a darmi il buongiorno non c'era il bel sole caldo di ieri, ma nuvole lattiginose e dense di umidità.

Mentre rivedevo il mio outfit per stasera, riflettevo sul tipo di trucco da abbinare e su che acconciatura fare ai capelli. Per quest'ultima, ormai mi sono decisa a tenerli sciolti, magari creando delle onde morbide con l'arricciacapelli.

Per quanto riguarda il trucco, voglio qualcosa di speciale, ma senza esagerare troppo con i colori degli ombretti, visto che voglio che il protagonista di stasera sia il mio nuovo rossetto Mac, quindi credo proprio che opterò per delle tonalità nude, scegliendo Strange dalla Naked 3, come base su tutta la palpebra, e poi Darkside e Nooner da sfumare nella piega dell'occhio. Eyeliner super nero, una sottile linea di matita color panna nella rima inferiore, per ingrandire lo sguardo, e tanto, tanto mascara sia nelle ciglia superiori che inferiori.

Sulle guance il blush di Essence nella tonalità autumn peach, contiene dei microglitter che danno un bellissimo effetto illuminante; sulle tempie e sul mento qualche pennellata di terra Mosaic face powder di Nyc, giusto per contornare un po' il viso. Infine, sulle labbra, lui, Sin - da applicare dopo un buon scrub e un po' di burrocacao, per evitare che si vedano segni e screpolature.

Hello my dears and happy nye!!

Last night the temperature suddenly dropped a lot and this morning, when I got out in pajamas from my balcony, to give me a good morning there wasn't the nice warm sun of yesterday, but milky clouds dense of humidity.

While I revised my outfit for tonight, I thought about what kind of makeup look and hairstyle I should realize. About hair I decided to keep them loose, creating soft waves with the curling iron.

About makeup, I want something special, but without exaggerating with the colors of eye shadows, because I want the star of tonight is my new Mac lipstick, then I guess I will opt for nude shades, choosing Strange, from Naked 3, as base of the entire eyelid, and then Darkside and Nooner to blend into the crease. Super black eyeliner, a thin line of cream eye pencil in the lower rim, to enlarge the eye, and lots of mascara on both upper and lower lashes.

On my cheeks the Essence blush in autumn peach, it contains microglitters that give a beautiful highlighting effect; on my temple and chin a few brush strokes of Mosaic face powder from Nyc, just to contour my face. Finally, on my lips, Sin - to applie after a good scrub and a touch of lip balm to avoid any signs and chapping.
